The Angelus

The Angel of the Lord announced unto Mary,
and she conceived by the Holy Ghost.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou among  women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.
Behold the handmaid of the Lord;
be it unto me according to thy word.

And the Word was made flesh;

We beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into our hearts: that as we have known the incarnation of thy Son Jesus Christ announced by the message of an angel to the Virgin Mary, so by his Xcross and passion we may be brought unto the glory of his resurrection.  Through the same Christ our Lord.  Amen.
